I wrote the stanzas for this book—originally a song—when my daughter Alyssa was just 3 years old. Every Christmas, we’d sing it together, creating a cherished holiday tradition. I eventually tucked those stanzas away in Alyssa’s memory box, but every so often, we’d talk about them, and she’d remember the verses with a smile.

Fast forward to 2020, during some free time, I found myself going through old boxes and stumbled upon those little pieces of paper with the song’s verses. Inspired, I decided to turn them into a holiday story... and voilà!
